July 20, 2008 The Dallas Morning News states that there are six NBA teams interested in acquiring the services of free agent Devean George. The teams interested are the Suns, Spurs, Timberwolves, Cavaliers, Hornets, and possibly the Celtics after losing James Posey. July 4, 2008 The Mavericks would like to re-sign Devean George, but there are a number of teams after him, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The paper reported that Phoenix, San Antonio, Minnesota, Cleveland and New Orleans are interested.
