| The agent for forward Mark Parrish spoke to Vancouver radio station CKNW on Wednesday confirming the Canucks' interest in his client, indicating the Canucks are viewing Parrish as "Plan B" should they fail in their attempts to sign veteran Mats Sundin, according to TSN. "I think there are a few teams waiting on Mats to see what he ends up doing," agent John Vollan told the radio station. "There are a few teams (interested in Parrish). It's preliminary. Barry) spoke with reporters in Toronto and indicated his client was nearing a decision concerning his involvement in the upcoming NHL season. Today reporters found Sundin and obtained comments direct from the source, according to the Toronto Star. "I haven't decided yet," Sundin told Sportsnet, according to the Sun. "I think sometime in August I hope to come to a conclusion on what I'm going to do ... if I'm going to play or not this year." |
